My name is Charlie Spillane and I am the owner of Rainy Day Vintage Guitars. I live in Merrimack, New Hampshire but I am always traveling to buy the vintage guitars of my dreams. I started playing guitar when I was twelve and I have played every day since then. I started doing research on vintage guitars, and over the past years of research I have become very knowledgeable about Fender, Gibson, and Epiphone guitars made before 1980. I have played, owned, and sold hundreds of collectible vintage guitars over the past several years. I discovered my passion for these instruments at a young age, and I have been getting my hands on as many old guitars as I can since then. Today I collect, buy, sell, and appraise vintage Fender, Gibson, and Epiphone guitars made before 1980.

I have bought and sold hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of vintage guitars, and by doing this I have learned just how personal these guitars are. For many including myself these instruments are more than just guitars. Each one carries a story with it, about what its been through, who owned it before, how they played it, and even what kind of music they played. This is what I love about vintage Fender and Gibson guitars, each one is unique.

I love to buy guitars from private sellers because I understand the emotional side of this process, and these instruments. Whether it’s a something you've inherited, or part of your collection, I truly love vintage guitars, and treat each transaction with the care and fairness it deserves. I have bought guitars from all over the country, location is not a barrier for the right guitar.
