Check out this great player grade 1967 Fender Telecaster Custom! It has had many modifications throughout its life, but it remains an excellent player, and still looks and sounds super nice. It started its life as a Custom Telecaster, but the body was replaced with another 60s refinished Telecaster body. The refinish has a bit of texture to it, but it has some killer natural playwear and looks pretty cool overall. The pickguard was also replaced, and the tuners were replaced in the early 70s. All other hardware is original. The frets are fairly low, but I think they still play well. There is a small amount of fret buzz, but this isn't very noticeable when playing through an amp. If this bothers you, a fret level or refret may be in order.
The neck was completely refinished on the back, and the front of the headstock was oversprayed. It has a large route under the guard to accommodate a humbucker. The bridge pickup and all other electronics remain original. The humbucker was originally a gold Gibson T-Top pickup, but it was messed around with, and the cover was replaced. The guitar retains the original dark circuit wiring, but could be converted to modern wiring easily if desired. I think the dark circuit is pretty fun personally.
It comes in a very cool, but non-original case. It reminds me of the 60's Fender Mustang cases but with white leather instead of black. As always, feel free to message with any questions. Thanks for your interest!
