Check out this amazing 1969 Les Paul Deluxe with all the desirable early features you would want to see! I acquired this in November from the previous owner since the 1970s. It is wonderfully light for a Les Paul at just under 9lbs, and one of the best Les Pauls I have played. It has no volute, and a pre-pancake slab mahogany body. It is all original and there have been no repairs. It is probably one of the first Les Pauls to have goof rings, they were more common in the 70s but introduced in 1969. There is nothing “mini” about the original mini humbuckers, they sound spectacular. As is pretty typical with vintage Les Pauls, the jack plate’s corner cracked off at one point. It currently functions well, but you may want to consider replacing it if you plan to play it outside the house. The frets are a bit flat, but still have a decent amount of life left in them.
The case was bought new with it, I believe, but it is not a Gibson case. All latches are intact, and it does a good job of protecting the guitar. As always, feel free to message with any questions. Thanks for your interest!
